BIO

George Tsatsos was born in Athens and educated in Greece and Zurich (ETH), where he graduated as a civil engineer. He served in the greek Navy.

He has had a career in industry, running cement factories in Cyprus, Estonia, Poland and England, and in an advisory role in many countries, including: Poland, Croatia, Russia, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Egypt and others. In Greece he led, for about 15 years (1967-1983), Heracles General Cement, the then largest cement company in the country. He also managed building materials businesses in Poland, Latvia and England. He was based fo

r 24 years in London. In 2009 he returned to Greece and since then lives in Kifisia-Athens.
